  Britta Balden  
Britta was born 1965 in Germany, where she finished high school and studied Business Administration and Accounting at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen.

She started her professional career in 1991as Assistant Auditor with PWC (Treuarbeit AG) in Frankfurt am Main and later as Senior Auditor with KPMG in Athens, Greece until 1994.

From 1994 up to 1995 Britta worked as Management Trainee and internal Auditor for Daimler- Benz-Industrie AEG in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

From 1995 up to 1999 she joined HOCHTIEF at the construction project of the New Athens International Airport, responsible in several positions starting from Tax Accounting to Head of Accounting and Financial Director of the consortium’s daughter company Air Traffic Control Systems Ltd.

In 2000 Britta founded ONIA-NET AE in Athens, Greece, which was followed in 2003 by Retail-Link AE where she held the position of the Managing Director until July 2015. Retail-Link AE is the leading provider of SaaS e-invoicing and collaborative supply-chain services in Greece.

In 2014 Britta started the new venture Electronic German Link GmbH in Germany.

Britta is a Board member of the German-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce and an active member of the Board of trustees of the German School in Athens. She has been a speaker at ECR Europe and Greece events and at other occasions as an expert on e-invoicing topics and collaborative supply chain and related business models.

She is married and has two daughters. She speaks German, English and Greek fluently.
