  Stefan Mittmann  
Stefan Mittmann was born 1964 in Athens, he visited the German School of Athens and studied computer science at the Berlin Technical University and Procurement Management at the Athens University of Economics.

He started his professional career as a partner at the Greek high tech company "P. Caritato and Associates" where he also held the position of the Genaral Manager from 1986 up to 1990. The company was representing leading electronic component manufacturers, such as Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, DuPont, Murata and others and later became part of the international group Arrow Electronics Distribution.

From 1990 up to 2001 Stefan Mittmann held the position of the purchasing manager at INTRACOM SA Hellenic Electronics and Telecommunications Industry. At its peak in 2000, the purchasing department was handling a purchasing volume of 1 billion Drachmae with 50 employees from some 2.500 suppliers in Greece, other European countries, the USA and the Far East.

From 2001 up to 2004 he was responsible for the development of the cooperation between various companies of the Intracom Group in Greece and other countries as a Corporate Liaison Officer.

In the period 1997-2013 he was General Secretary of the Hellenic Purchasing Institute, a long-time member association of the International Federation of Purchasing and Materials Management (IFPMM) in Greece.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences and other events and has written a number of articles for renowned magazines. He is also a certified instructor for official training seminars in procurement and supply chain management, an activity he has performed during 2006.

From 2007 up to 2012 Stefan Mittmann was a founding partner and Managing Director of Helioindex SA, a company established to distribute photovoltaic equipment in the Greek market. During 2009 - 2012 he was also a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Hellenic Association of Photovoltaic Companies (HELAPCO).

Since 2012 he is working as an independent business consultant focusing on procurement and supply chain management.
